Outpatient Treatment and Intervention Services at Stockton Street:

Gateway provides Intervention Services and several levels of Outpatient Treatment at our
Stockton Street location. You may be referred to these services by calling Gateway Connect at
1-877-389-9966 to determine the most appropriate level of service.

Intervention Services: Intervention programs educate clients who have been identified as
potentially having problems with substance misuse. Information regarding the
misuse of drugs and alcohol is provided to clients in this program. Drug screens are
required from program participants. Clients attend six two hour sessions one day per week.

Outpatient Treatment Services: Gateway has three levels of outpatient treatment, each with specific time commitments for those diagnosed with substance dependence. Before clients are admitted to many of our outpatient programs, they must attend four two hour Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) groups.   Our traditional outpatient services program, the least restrictive level of care, meets from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. either one or two times per week. Our next level of care, day-night, meets three hours a day, four days a week, for six to 12 weeks. Clients can also attend our Intensive Outpatient program three evenings per week from 6pm to 9pm.

Fairwinds Intensive Outpatient Services

Gateway's Fairwinds Intensive Outpatient program provides affordable, customized, outpatient treatment services to meet specific individual needs. Group meetings are held three evenings per week to accommodate most work schedules.

Participants must complete an assessment with a counselor prior to starting the program. They must also demonstrate their willingness to work at their recovery, consent to random drug testing, and attend all other program activities. New clients may begin our intensive outpatient program by joining a regularly scheduled group meeting any evening following their assessment.

Fees for Fairwinds services are due at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, credit cards, and some national healthcare insurance policies including Aetna, Cigna, and Magellan.

If you, or someone you know, has a problem with drugs or alcohol, call Gateway Connect toll-free at 1-877-389-9966 to schedule an assessment.
